MMAjunkie is reporting that UFC Fight Night 13 will officially take place April 2. The event will air on Spike TV as a lead-in for the season premier of “The Ultimate Fighter 7.”The event will be headlined by a lightweight bout between Kenny Florian and Joe Lauzon, as well as light heavyweights Stephan Bonnar and Matt Hamill.

Additionally, Karo Parisyan will face Thiago Alves. Parisyan is on the record saying that he has been promised a title fight provided he doesn’t lose to Alves.

The event will be followed by the season premier of “The Ultimate Fighter.” The middleweight division is the focus of the seventh season with UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson and Forrest Griffin as coaches.
